If coming from Caen or Le Havre, or if you wish
to avoid Paris, head for Rouen on A16, then A28,
A13 (towards Paris), N13, N154 (Dreux, Chartres)
then A10 to Orléans, A71, A20 to Limoges
(then see local directions below). |

From Calais, the A16 carries less traffic than
the A26 and you can join the A1 for Paris either
via A29 from Amiens or, close into Paris, via
the D104 to Charles de Gaulle Airport and pick
up A1 there. Follow signs to A10 Bordeaux/Orléans.
At Orléans take A71 (follow Toulouse) then
A20 to Limoges (then see local directions below). |

From Paris, Gare Austerlitz, take a train to
Limoges (3 hours from Paris) or Brive (3.5 hours).

It is about 1 hour's drive from Limoges, 50 mins
from Brive. |

| Local directions: |
via Limoges (50 mins):
From Limoges (A20 exit 36) take D704 through
St Yrieix la Perche. Then follow Périgueux
signs on D704. At Cherveix-Cubas fork right for
Tourtoirac. In village turn right onto D67,
over the river and fork right towards Excideuil.
Les Taloches is on the left about 300 yards up
the hill. First entrance for La Châtaigne,
second for La Grange. |

via Brive(45 mins)
Take A89 (Bordeaux). Exit at Sortie 17 - Sarlat.
Turn right on N89 towards Périgueux. After
about 500 yards, go right at roundabout onto
D704 (Hautefort, St Yrieix-la-Perche). After
15km aririve St Agnan. Turn left in village onto
D62 (Tourtoirac, Périgueux). After 6km
enter village (follow instructions above). |

via Périgueux
(30 mins): Follow directions for Limoges (N21)
heading out of Périgueux. At Trelissac
turn right at traffic lights onto D5, cross the
river and at next roundabout go left on the D5
(Bassillac airport & Hautefort). Carry on
along this road via Le Change and Cubjac to Tourtoirac.
In village centre after the bar Relais d’Ans
turn sharp left onto D67 (then follow instructions
above). |
