| La Châtaigne is a lovely rambling house full
of old beams, twisting staircases, traditional stone
walls and large open fires. Together with its large
terrace and sparkling 10 x 8 metre swimming pool, it
creates the perfect atmosphere for a holiday with family
or friends. |

| The five bedrooms (sleeping 12 plus babies) and the
large sitting room and kitchen offer plenty of space
for everyone. The kitchen leads straight on to a very
big terrace which overlooks the securely-fenced swimming
pool and some of our lovely woodland. Its south-west
aspect ensures plenty of sunshine and makes it the perfect
place for a candlelit al fresco dinner. |

A huge farmhouse kitchen over 10 metres long
has a breakfast bar and an additional dining table.
There is a sitting area leading to the terrace
for those seeking extra shade. |

The large sitting-room has lots of comfy sofas,
a satellite TV, DVD and video players and a big
dining table. There are two inglenook fireplaces
and doors leading to both the central courtyard
and the private terrace. This has a lovely view
over the gite's own 10m x 8m pool towards our
woods. |

An en-suite double bedroom with its own a private
entrance from the terrace. Separated by double
doors, it is perfect for any party members seeking
extra peace and quiet. |

double bed and a special children's annexe with
twin beds. There is also an en-suite bathroom
with unusual low beams – mind your head! |

made available to sleep several older children
or teenagers if they want some independence. There
is a toilet and washbasin nearby. |
