The enormous barn that was La Grange has been carefully
transformed into a really delightful luxury property.
Many of our guests are literally breath-taken when they
see the stunning interior.
This gracious and comfortable house has four bedrooms
to sleep 8 people plus babies. It has been fully equipped
with everything you could want for a holiday rental.
The vast living accommodation ensuring plenty of breathing
space for everyone.
Furnished with antique and traditional furniture,
La Grange is still child-friendly with stair-gates
and high chairs etc provided and secure fencing around
its generous 12m x 6m private swimming pool.
Ground floor
The dramatic sitting-room has a monumental open
fireplace and large french doors on either side.
One opens on to the shared courtyard and the other
directly on to the large terrace beside the pool.
In the living area there is a huge monastery
table for dining, that is if you can bear to eat
indoors when there is lovely illuminated terrace
with table and chairs and its own barbecue just
beside the pool.
A large, fully equipped farmhouse-style kitchen.
Hidden behind the fireplace is an especially
lovely bedroom with a four-poster bed, a large
en-suite bathroom overlooking the garden, and
french doors to its own wisteria-clad terrace.
The garden is screened for added privacy but
is surrounded only by the meadows and woodland
of Les Taloches.
Mezzanine
Overlooking the sitting room is a galleried
mezzanine lounge where there is a satellite TV
with DVD and video player. There are also games
and an interesting collection of vinyls (and a
player!). On the gallery is a library with books
for all ages.
First Floor
A double room with an en-suite bathroom and
toilet and its own private balcony terrace overlooking
the gardens and pool. It is possible to access
this room completely independently - ideal for
any members of the party who require a greater
degree of privacy.
A twin bedroom with washbasin and bidet. This
room has a lockable connecting door to:
A second twin bedroom with an en-suite bathroom.
The two bedrooms share this bathroom but there
is a separate toilet.
Outside
A 12 x 6 metre pool in a secluded garden. The
pool is securely fenced with a self-closing, lockable
gate.
A large terrace with barbecue and dining furniture
for 8.
Parking for several cars and some covered parking.
Sandpit.
Shared games room in separate barn and 19-acres
of grounds.
